We’re pleased to announce the CaseMatters 1.2.0 release on Friday 30 October 2026, focusing on the introduction of ID/AML checks. The release also includes two smaller improvements: a Tasks section within individual cases and a case identifier on CaseMatters tabs.
What’s new
ID/AML checks is a standalone feature available from Smart Hub. It lets you verify a client’s identity and run anti-money-laundering (AML) checks without leaving CaseMatters. You capture the identity documents and verification information, run the supported AML check through the connected compliance service, and review the outcome. The result, its status and any outstanding actions are recorded, so you and your compliance team can see where each check stands.
CaseMatters keeps a full audit trail of every check and its outcome, which gives you a record to rely on in a file review or regulatory enquiry.
Why it matters
Checks inside CaseMatters. Verify identity and run AML checks from Smart Hub, with no second system to open.
Everything in one place. Identity documents and verification information are held together in a single feature.
Clear status at a glance. The result, status and outstanding actions are shown, so you can see what still needs doing.
Standalone feature. ID/AML checks is available from Smart Hub in its own right, so you can start a check whenever you need one.
A full audit trail. Every check and outcome is recorded, which supports compliance reviews and regulatory enquiries.
Less switching between screens. A Tasks section in each case and the case identifier on every tab keep you oriented while you work.
