CaseMatters – Release 1.1.0

Introducing Queries, which lets you run your existing Proclaim saved searches in CaseMatters and review the results in one place.

Written by Tom Higgs

We're pleased to announce the CaseMatters 1.10 release on Thursday 15 October 2026, focusing on the introduction of Queries.

Queries lets you run saved case searches and review the results in one place. Name Search finds a case by client or case name. Queries searches any data field held against a case, so you can take a deeper, more tailored look at your caseload. Examples include 'Cases by Forthcoming Limitation Date' or 'Live Conveyancing cases with no mortgage offer received'.

Every query you already use in Proclaim Desktop is included in this release. Your existing queries are loaded into CaseMatters for you, so there is nothing to recreate or configure before you start. You select a query, answer any prompts and run it. CaseMatters returns results considerably faster than before, which helps you reach the key cases and information you need with less waiting.

What's new

Why it matters

  • All your existing queries, ready to use. Queries you have used in Proclaim Desktop are available in CaseMatters from day one, with no set-up required.

  • Faster results. Queries run more quickly in CaseMatters, so you spend less time waiting and more time acting on the results.

  • Search on any case data. Look beyond names and surface cases by the fields that drive your work: dates, fees, fee earner and stage.

  • Narrow results at run time. Queries can ask for a date or fee earner name before they run, so one saved query answers many questions.

  • Find the key cases quickly. Run a query, open the case you need, or export the list to share and report on.

  • Closed cases when you need them. Select the Include closed cases checkbox to widen the search.
